An LVL treatment can last on some people up to 12 weeks, but more usually around 6-8 weeks, depending on a clients lash life cycle. This is due to the fact that everyone's lashes can grow at different rates.

Think of it like this - someone with short lashes has a shorter lash life cycle, the lash grows to full length quite quickly, then naturally falls out and is replaced at a quicker rate than a person with long lashes.

Nouveau Lashes are state of the art semi-permanent lash extensions that give longer, thicker, very natural looking lashes.  Convenient and time saving as there is no need for mascara.  Soft and curved, Nouveau Lashes have a flat base and a fine, polished tip, just like natural lashes and are applied individually for a striking and defined result that can last for up to 8 weeks.

Lash extensions aftercare

To ensure your Nouveau Lashes are long lasting and stay beautiful, proper care and maintenance are required.

• For the first two hours after Nouveau Lashes treatment do not allow water to contact the lashes.

• For two days after Nouveau Lashes treatment do not steam your face, use a steam bath, swim or wash your face with hot water.

• Do not use waterproof mascara or mascara remover on Nouveau Lashes as makeup remover will affect the bonding of Nouveau Lashes. Only use water based mascara on Nouveau Lashes tip.

• Do not perm Nouveau Lashes.

• Do not use a lash curler, as it will break both the Nouveau Lashes and natural lashes.

• Do not rub eyes or Nouveau Lashes when washing face, always pat lashes dry after cleansing.

• An occasional short visit to the sauna is fine. However going on a daily basis may cause earlier maintenance as the lashes could prematurely fall off or tilt in a different direction from your natural lash.

Rebalancing of lashes is essential to maintaining the overall appearance, as natural losses will occur as your natural lashes progress through the growth cycle.

Regular maintenance every 2/3 weeks will keep your lashes looking fantastic!

Nouveau Express Lashes - £35 Duration 30 mins

Express lashes are perfect for Christmas, parties, weddings & events etc. They`re quick to apply, look great and for those of you who are more adventurous colours and gems can be added.

During your consultation I will establish what look you are after, you will then be given recommendations of the best length and curl to suit your needs and based on the condition of your own lashes, but ultimately the choice is yours. The basic application will be approximately 30 minutes and this will give you a lovely set of lashes, however, you will be given the choice of having even more layers on top if you would like a more dramatic effect, for a small additional cost.

The Express lash treatment is designed to last a couple of weeks, however, your own lashes shed naturally and new ones continue to grow in a replenishing cycle. We naturally shed 4 - 10 lashes from each eye in a 2 week period. This means you will need to have the lashes removed after two weeks to allow your natural lashes to replenish. You can have a new set put on at this time. It is normal to lose a few lashes in the first 24 hours whilst the adhesive is setting and care should be taken in this period.

Do's and Dont's

You can continue to wear make-up but is it`s important to use an oil-free make-up remover (oil will damage the bonding agent). You will find you no longer need to use mascara, however, you can still wear mascara on the tips of the lashes but waterproof mascara is not recommended. You should avoid direct contact with water for the first 24 hours around the eye area but after that time they will be fine in water as the bonding agent is waterproof. If possible avoid direct contact with the jets of the shower on the lashes and wear goggles when swimming.

Things you need to know.

You cannot have Lash Extensions if you have the following conditions: Cataract, Conjunctivitis, Diabetic Retinopathy, Dry Eye Syndrome or Glaucoma.
